CyKids Cyber Safety Events Coming to You IRL

SUMMER BREAK IS ALMOST HERE, WHICH MEANS KIDS START TO SPEND MORE FREE TIME ONLINE AND ON MOBILE DEVICES.
A local charity group CyKids (Cayman Cyber Kids), is an innovative program that takes on the challenging issues surrounding cybersecurity and the way we keep our families safe. CyKids’ fundamental priority is creating awareness in an enjoyable way.

The group addresses challenging topics such as the healthy use of devices, protecting personal information, recognizing dangerous online activities, and cyberbullying behavior.

As the local Cayman innovative digital community and global networks continue to improve and connect us all, working as a community to educate and protect ourselves and our children has become a paramount priority for CyKids and the sponsors who are making it happen: Digital Cayman, eShore, Netclues, Gateway Technologies, and SURE International Datacentres.

This summer’s CyKids events scheduled include CyKids sponsored ‘Boater Safety’ and ‘CPR & Emergency First Aid’ half-day programs with a cybersecurity “Tips and Tricks” lunch and learn session.
